Contractor Survival Guide Two – The Minnesota Building Code

Professional Education Resources’ Contractor Survival Guide Course Two: The Minnesota Building Code is the second course in the three-part Survival Guide series and takes an in-depth introductory look at the 2015 MN Residential Building Code.

Understanding how to quickly access the information you need from the code starts with understanding how to use the code as a reference document. Course Two starts with the three keys to success to unlocking the information you need to erect or remodel a code compliant home.

The second part of Survival Guide Two moves into MN Rules, specifically the 1300 block of Rules; Chapter 1300, Chapter 1303, Chapter 1322, and Chapter 1309. The course attendee will gain a working knowledge of what Rules are, who writes the rules, and then specifically what these four specific Rules mean to licensed MN Contractors.

The Third part of the course focuses in on Chapters 2-10 and addresses the major points of each chapter helping to build a basic understanding of how each chapter is laid out, and more importantly – what each chapter addresses.

Contractor Survival Guide Course Two: The Minnesota Building Code is a must take course if you have ever found yourself wondering just what exactly the Building Official is talking about when he visits your job sight, or when find you need to give guidance to your subcontractors on what the code requires.

Cost of the course is $179.00.  Register online at www.proedresource.com, or as always give Jeannie a call at our office and she can register you over the phone 1-651-301-2121.
